Sock Wars
Well, the Sock Wars competition started a few weeks ago. I had finished my sock within 24 hours of the pattern being posted, but it took almost a week to get the address for my target.
So on Saturday my Socks of Doom – along with some extra goodies – went out to New Zealand. These were made out of regular Cascade 220.
I sent an email to my assasin, but I haven’t heard a peep back. Oh well, this could have been a really great contest/swap concept if so many people hadn’t gone AWOL in the middle of it.
I forgot to take a picture of the care package… I also forgot to take a picture of the pair I made for my brother’s birthday. That’s two pairs of socks knit in under 24 hours each. One on size 5 needles, the other on size 1
